In 2021, two adventurous Cyclers embarked on a long tour of Turkey, covering over 400 villages and 41 cities in 29 days. The journey began in the Northern part of Turkey, at the picturesque Uzungul lake in Trabzon. The route followed the Black Sea coast for 12 days, offering breathtaking views and the opportunity to explore the local culture and history. As the Cyclers pedaled their way through the scenic countryside, they were greeted by friendly locals and discovered the hidden gems of the region.
After reaching Istanbul, the Cyclers continued their journey towards the Western part of Turkey, where they explored the Mediterranean coast. The coastal route took them to the city of Antalya, a popular tourist destination known for its sandy beaches, ancient ruins, and delicious seafood. The Cyclers took a break here to relax and enjoy the warm weather before continuing their journey.

The next stop was Gazi Antap, a city with a rich history and culture. The Cyclers were impressed by the city's impressive architecture and monuments, as well as the local hospitality. They also had the opportunity to try the traditional cuisine and learn more about the local way of life.
After 6 days, the Cyclers reached Slopi, the last point of their journey in Turkey. The city is known for its natural beauty and outdoor activities. The Cyclers took some time to explore the surrounding mountains and valleys, and to take in the stunning views of the landscape.

Finally, after 2 days, the Cyclers reached Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region, where they were received by government officials, including the governor of Erbil. A reception ceremony was held to celebrate the end of their journey and to honor the Cyclers for their achievement. This was a truly memorable experience for the Cyclers, filled with adventure, culture, and friendship. They returned home with a wealth of memories and a newfound appreciation for the beauty and diversity of Turkey.
